BAL-rated doors are doors that comply with a certain standard of the BAL-rating system. Usually outfitted with a special bottom panel, heavy moulding, and glazing, these doors can achieve BAL ratings of 12.5, 19, and 29.
Prior to enquire, please enquire with your desired BAL-rating, and we will guide you to creating a door that suits your style and safety requirements.
12.5: Designed for areas at risk of ember exposure during a
fire. Glazed doors in this category include a minimum of 4mm
toughened glass and offer the most variety in available glass
types.
BAL internal door products are designed for projects where specific building requirements and compatible door construction are important. They provide a practical option for residential applications that call for a defined product specification within the overall building design.
Always confirm the individual product details, installation requirements and suitability for the intended location before ordering. The finished door can then be coordinated with the surrounding trims, paint colours and hardware.
